"Man is nothing else but what he makes of himself." — Jean-Paul Sartre (1946)
I had the pleasure of working with Laura and I would strongly recommend her to others. The sessions provided a very safe space where I could be completely honest about my goals and concerns. Laura was perceptive and skilful in picking up on specific language I used, challenging me when needed and probing deeper to get to the root causes of issues. I left several sessions with fresh perspectives on problems I was facing, and after every session, I felt genuinely heard. I appreciated her approach, which was free of ego and entirely client-focused. In summary, Laura’s coaching has greatly enhanced my self-awareness and skills at work, leaving a lasting impact on my confidence and effectiveness. I highly recommend her as a coach. Tom OB. I just want to say thank you because your feedback and guidance have been incredible. The points you raised have been a light bulb moment because this has given me a new perspective on how I approach my answers, I now feel more focused and clear on the steps I need to take moving forward. Thank you again because your support has been incredibly impactful and I appreciate the time and effort you’ve put into helping me grow. Martin S. Emergency Services Commander. London
Exploring my thinking regarding my career plan and current position was incredibly useful, especially as it centred around what makes me happy both at work and at home. The sessions helped me list the factors I can control in my work and life, while also accepting those I cannot. I initially experienced some level of imposter syndrome in my new role. However, by exploring and understanding these feelings, I gained confidence and a sense of contentment, realising that many others feel similarly to some extent. This insight has helped me approach interactions with senior leaders—and my daily work—with much greater assurance. On reflection, while the sessions were a resounding success for me, they were all scheduled in the last hour of the working day. If I were to engage in coaching and mentoring again, I would ideally schedule the sessions in the morning, recognising, of course, the constraints of our busy diaries. Emergency Services Leader.
